Threat Composer

 AWS Threat Composer is an open-source threat modeling tool developed by AWS Labs that helps security teams and architects reduce time-to-value when threat modeling by providing a structured framework to create threat statements aligned to threat grammar, generate human-readable and machine-readable threat models, and identify areas for quality and coverage improvement through an integrated Insights Dashboard. The tool integrates directly into Visual Studio Code through the AWS Toolkit extension and supports natural non-linear workflows with prescriptive threat statement structures, full threat statement examples, and reference threat models, enabling development teams to identify security issues early in the design phase and efficiently deliver secure workloads throughout the software development lifecycle.
